SERVICE USER LIAISON OFFICER
Salary: £5,200 per annum
Telford Crisis Network supports people through acute financial crisis. Five network partners, Citizens Advice Telford and Wrekin; Telford Crisis Support; STAY, Telford MIND and Age UK are working together within the Helping Hands Out of Hardship project. They provide an integrated advice and support service to help vulnerable people out of hardship to a more secure and sustainable financial future. The 5 year project is funded by the National Lottery’s Help through Crisis Fund.
A vacancy has occurred for Service User Liaison Worker for 10 hours working for Telford Crisis Support. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join the Helping Hands team. The individual must demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Recognised qualifications and experience in either advice, community work or support work
- Excellent networking and IT communication skills
- Understanding of the causes and impact of financial hardship and an ability to engage and empathise with people in financial crisis.
