Wellington Rotary club support

The Rotary Club of Wellington (Shropshire) have been supporting Telford’s Foodbank ever since it began nearly 8 years ago.

We exist to make sure that no-one need go without the essentials they need to keep themselves and their families clean, clothed, warm, fed & healthy.

The total overall contributions made by Wellington rotary since the start of lockdown comes to a total of £3373.50 plus £187.50 in food donations.

With extra financial support we are able to keep up with our PPE supplies to keep our team safe,  make the hub a safe space for visitors, keep our vehicles on the road and running costs of food storage and distribution just to name a few examples.

Since lockdown back in March our project has distributed 3044 food parcels, fed 6185 adults and children, and has provided over 55,665 meals.

Community lottery

Please support our cause by buying lottery tickets via our fundraising page!

Telford and Wrekin Community Lottery is an exciting weekly lottery that raises money for good causes in Telford and Wrekin. All good causes supported by the lottery will benefit Telford and Wrekin and its residents.

Play the lottery, support Telford and Wrekin – it’s that simple!

Tickets for the lottery cost just £1 per week. Each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win a prize each week, with a top prize of £25,000! That’s a better chance of winning than the National Lottery or the Health Lottery!

Each ticket will consist of 6 numbers and each number will be between 0 and 9. There will be a draw every Saturday night when a 6 digit winning combination will be picked. Prizes will be given to players with tickets that match the first or last 2-6 numbers from the winning combination. Match all 6 and you win the JACKPOT!

14th-20th May is #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek. If you need someone to talk to or some tips to improve your emotional well-being, there are a whole host of services in Telford & Wrekin that can help.

Our doors are always open to those in need. If you know anyone that could benefit from a chat and a cup of tea, come and see us at Leegomery Community Centre!

International Volunteer Day

We would just like to take the opportunity to say thank you to all of our volunteers for their continued hard work.

In 2017 alone, Telford Crisis Support volunteers have provided over 3000 emergency food parcels for those in need, and have collectively given over 2000 hours of their time!

We couldn’t do what we do without support from our volunteers.

Thank you!
