As an independent organisation, we heavily rely on funding and grants from local government and local businesses.
In 2020 we provided over 90,000 meals to our community, in 2021 over 120,000 and in 2022 we expect to provide around 170,000 meals. Alongside our foodbank support, we run a baby bank. pre-loved school uniform project, and provide services for bed poverty, re-homing, and other holistic support to our community and other organisations across Telford and Wrekin.
Redundancy, low-paid work, lack of affordable housing, family breakdowns, Poor health, leaving care with no budgeting skills. There are just some of the reasons why we provide our service to the people of Telford & Wrekin and Central Shropshire 5.
If you or your staff want to support the local community at a local level, boost your corporate social responsibility message and improve staff morale through volunteering then we want to hear from you.
We are looking for businesses to sponsor us for:
- Events, challenges, and competitions
- Christmas hamper collections
- Sports events
- Charity of the year
And staff development through providing Telford Crisis Support with:
- Skill Sharing with staff
- Providing guest blogs
- Guest speaking at board meetings and providing accounting, legal, or Financial advice
- Providing training to our volunteers
All these activities offer to promote your company’s work, helping you to achieve charitable goals through:
- Branding of the company at different events
- Positive media coverage
- Customer engagement and retention
We deliver parcels to those in need and collect food 5 days a week whilst covering well over 250 miles a week. From Coalport to Crudgington, and Halesfield to Hadley, your company logo will be advertised wherever the van goes!
