Kushdil Ladies knitting group.

A Telford knitting group, bringing women together from all backgrounds, have donated further knitted baby and toddler woollens to Telford Crisis Support, to help parents struggling with the cost of living.

The items including, hats, scarves and mittens, are all lovingly knitted by the Kushdil ladies’ knitting group.

TCS attended the group last week to thank the ladies personally and collect the donation.

KAVS (King’s Award for Voluntary Service) Presentation event.

This week a group of our amazing volunteers, accompanied by staff and board members attended the KAVS award ceremony at the Cavalier Centre, Bradley Farm, Much Wenlock.

They were there to accept this prestigious honour, the MBE for charities, on behalf of all the TCS volunteers, past and present.

The award was presented to TCS Chair, Chris Jones, by HRH The Princess Royal.

TCS owe you, our volunteers, a huge debt of gratitude, you are all deserving of this award in recognition of your, kindness, commitment and hard work supporting our communities across Telford & Wrekin, and Shropshire.

We were a winner on People’s Postcode Lottery, well kind of ….

This was an amazing surprise, several people in Telford shared a big prize this weekend, and because of this, we were one of the incredibly lucky charity winners chosen by People’s Postcode Lottery to benefit from this too. Thank you Peoples Postcode Lottery and all of the players too!
