KAVS (King’s Award for Voluntary Service) Presentation event.

This week a group of our amazing volunteers, accompanied by staff and board members attended the KAVS award ceremony at the Cavalier Centre, Bradley Farm, Much Wenlock.

They were there to accept this prestigious honour, the MBE for charities, on behalf of all the TCS volunteers, past and present. The award was presented to TCS on the day by HRH The Princess Royal.

TCS owe you, our volunteers, a huge debt of gratitude, you are all deserving of this award in recognition of your, kindness, commitment and hard work supporting our communities across Telford & Wrekin, and Shropshire.

We were a winner on People’s Postcode Lottery, well kind of ….

For this week’s #MillionaireStreet, we’re in Telford to visit @telfordsupport which has been awarded £50,000 by Postcode Community Trust ❤️

This was an amazing surprise, several people in Telford shared a big prize this weekend, and because of this, we were one of the incredibly lucky charity winners chosen by People’s Postcode Lottery to benefit from this too. Thank you Peoples Postcode Lottery and all of the players too!
